2月第3月曜日は Peresident’s Day
2月の第３月曜日は、Washington’s Birthday/ Presidents Dayです。アメリカ合衆国の初代大統領の誕生日（2月22日）にちなんだfederal holidayですが、州によって呼び方も異なり、休日でない場合もあります。また、U-Cでも、UIUCは授業が普通に行われます。Urbana Free Libraryは全日休館、Champaign Public Libraryは開館しています。
AMERICAN PERIL: FACES OF THE ENEMY
Jason Finkelmanさんからのお知らせです。ただいま、University YMCAで、“American Peril: Faces of the Enemy”（「アメリカの危機；敵の顔」）が展示されています。”American Peril: Faces of the Enemy depicts members of the Japanese American and Muslim American communities directly impacted by negative Japanese and Islamophobic propaganda. It reminds us all to be vigilant of the racial bias in our society’s media.”
2月20日（木）には、この展示のレセプションも開催されます。Join us for an exhibition reception on Thursday, February 20 from 5:00-7:00 at the University YMCA.
