- (9/2) Coronavirus response | After uptick in cases, UI stepping up enforcement, asking students to limit in-person activities “While the first week of testing matched the UI’s expectations for how many cases would be brought into the community, the numbers haven’t decreased since then, as was expected, according to officials”“[At the current pace of growth], as many as 8,000 people could be infected this semester, according to the UI, and 300 to 400 people would need to be added to the quarantine each day.”

●Champaign市が、EO 20-25（Campus Town内のレストラン・バーの店内飲食禁止等）を9月16日まで延長（当初の有効期限は9月8日）。Emergency Order 20-25 Amendment1 (9月4日付）
●Urbana市が、Campus地域内のレストラン・バーにおける店内飲食を禁止する新たなEO（20-10）を発令。Emergency Order 20-10, 9月5日夕方5時に発効。
